Nagai's modern art style is a hit or miss; Danbei look a bit too realistic.

It's also interesting the statement that he is Daemon from Abashiri Family with a new name. I checked the original Cutie Honey, and it was quite different:

He talks about playing a role. Did Nagai want to explain his reused designs in a way similar like Tezuka, suggesting that his characters are actors playing roles? If that's the case, then the "actor" for Junpei would also be the one for Kichiza from Abashiri Family, rather than them being half-brothers.

I think the truth of the matter is shown in a later chapter, though what already is stated would be against Junpei being the Kichiza. The house has the Abashiri family name on it quite oddly.
