having big problem with that ugly bastard, ah moment :aquadrink: let's see what action MC takes, whether he teaches ugly bastard unforgettable lesson or kills him (which seems unlikely, since this is manga, not mahwa)

I'll give this a few more chapters before deciding whether or not to drop this, hoping the Mc isn't a naïve goody two-shoes who helps everyone and acts like a doormat, all the while trying to pretend to be normal yet acting the complete opposite.

Wait, she's the pig beastman's sister-in-law?

I wonder why the monsters have started increasing.

I also wonder how the pig family ended up chief of the village; I guess they're educated and have some skills necessary for managing the village, but they haven't shown anything besides antagonising other villagers and that's not great for their position. Take the guineafowl, they had to share it with the other villagers so it seems to be that if they're ever more trouble than they're worth, the villagers can easily replace them. Since they don't, and aren't using force to maintain their position (they're just mingling with other villagers) they must have skills that make them irreplaceable.

If the merchant hasn't shown up that bodes poorly.

yes,
there's "義妹" in the dialogue
義妹 (ぎまい): a sister-in-law who is younger than the speaker or than another family member.

That's possible, maybe he had some necessary skill, hope they'll explain it later:thonk:

It seems the author removed parts of his web novel due to contract with the publisher...any suggestion ?
