I guess at this point, its not even scanlator drama so much as someone straight up lying about what they're doing.

I do read/consume low effort MTL/ AI even, I am more than willing to appreciate the time taken to do so. I am even relatively okay if there's multiple groups working on it, actual effort/quality or not.

There are several MTL/AI translated stuff, and the uploader/scanlator themselves admit to it. That's fine, and fair.

I cannot fathom why you would lie about it all or hide this. Nevermind lie about your own activity/behavior.

Sincerely, what is wrong with saying you are uploading stuff with MTL/AI translations to explicitly piss off other scanlators?

Perhaps hiding it is an additional means of pissing off more people?

And if it really is just to piss people off, what the hell are you actually using your time for? You sound miserable, dont do that to yourself.

Yeah honestly if we gotta have scanlator drama at least it's on a manga that has turned out to be ass anyway. Legitimately, I read the isekai slop jumpscare and thought "this would be a better manga than what I just read". That really clarified it for me; I'm gonna drop.

Go ahead and keep waiting for Radeon Scan. We just picked up a series that was dead on MangaDex for three months. If they care so much about getting 'sniped,' maybe they should actually update MangaDex instead of just hoarding chapters on their own site. If you're gonna complain, don't read our release and keep waiting. They left the series inactive for months, not us.
We just wanted to upload because this series had a lot of support and the scan doesnt uploaded it in two mounths, not needed to hate LOL

You bunch have sniped at least 5 series so far.. why not translate Manga that truly has no active translators? Prime case of people where wisdom has been chasing you's, but you's have always been faster..

It's happening again… We lost a good translator because of a hostile sniper and its reader…

The irony is these new translators sometimes are not even seriously doing this, and they will leave as easily as they come… It's happened before, and it's probably going to keep happening…

Why would anyone need to ask permission to scan and upload something? Does a competitor have to ask permission from an already established business if they are allowed to set up shop near them? Do you think Wal-Mart asks for permission from the brick & mortar Mom & Pop stores when they set up shop and absolutely demolish them with their inferior service/products simply because people aren't willing to accept that most people don't give a fuck and just want whatever is easier/cheapest?

Because this isn't a business. It's not a competition. People are doing this on their free time because they love the manga or wanna practice their skills at it. The rules you listed don't apply.
