I wouldn't say she's blindly following the church, given how frequently she calls them out as corrupt and full of lies. It's more that she doesn't feel like she has a choice but to follow their orders, to the point where she's explicitly worried about being sold into slavery if she fails.
She...
Does anyone else feel sorry for the maid who saw her master walk out into the wilderness, to investigate a potential disaster, and has probably been wondering where she is for the last few days? She even seemed pretty loyal at the start, so I don't think she'll have just cut and run.
Presumably the rabbit is designed to act like a sheath, at least in so far as it holds and protects the sword. She probably didn't just impale a plushy with it. If nothing else, all the stuffing would end up coming out and it would stop being cute.
The Valac's are cartoon characters, living in a cartoon forest, confirmed. Now Clara just needs to learn to tap into the full power of the Toon Force, rather than just the part that lets her pull whatever she needs out of an improbably small pocket.
Wait, she works in a cafe, rides around on a motorcycle, and does some level of grocery shopping, but she's never seen a credit card before? Did I miss something?
Wasn't there already a scene where the shadowy mastermind revealed that they were saved by Yuugo back on earth and implied they know a lot more about what's going on in this world?
Huh. I didn't realize those veil things in front of Leiji's eyes were actually just bangs. That's quite the haircut.
Also, the way Balam completely undercut the worthless teacher's grandstanding with his entrance was fantastic.
That seems unlikely, since that "beast" was a high ranking demon...
Is gargoyle a type of demon or just a title he has?
IIRC, these evil cycles are extremely unusual in both their nature and who they're effecting, to it seems unlikely they're just a result of increased stress.
We already new about Urara and his absence from normal family functions. There's...
That was a very touching chapter. At the same time, I couldn't help but chuckle at the way Pitch-Black Clara got sidelined by regular Clara as soon as she started bickering with Azz.
Also, I don't think the "We'll search for him together" line is foreshadowing, or at least I don't think it's...
Huh. It's interesting that Clara has an actual name for her evil cycle persona and that Pitch Black Clara is notably less of a ditz than her regular self.
I'd be careful about assume that every devil's evil cycle is the same or that Clara's is representative of a normal evil cycle.
