Problem with the author:
Changing the narrative quite strongly. Not sure if it was planned or author decided to milk the story and change the narrative midway. Now author "force" opened the route for romance with Lemon by making her SEEM as a lost sheep who doesn't have to take any accountability for her actions. Author now insanely tries to pain Lemon as good girl who just made some ouies along the way.
Also author changed his narrative also a bit. Guy was traumatized for a long time, even was calling her a witch. Now? Suddenly acting friendly or understanding. There are some mistakes that cannot be taken lightly her chain of mistakes are not the exception and actually due to it being a chain of mistakes it makes ever so more grave.
EDIT: My point is and was that author poorly executed his story. If you look at the first chapters and the last ones, it's clear as a day that something changed along the way but author executed it poorly.
I consider if my girlfriend would tell me that she cheated on me and the public knows it AND EVEN if i somehow without investigation or her telling the whole story start to consider it a BS story, i would likely not communicate with her again.
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand that her lie wasn't something small and everyone spoke about it (increases the magnitude and damage to reputation).
Author could have taken a more mild lie or stance from the beginning and his narrative could be still good. For example she decided to break up with him because she doesn't like him anymore (lying about not liking him anymore due to peer pressure, pretty realistic and insignificant lie in my book) and they stop talking. Now after 4 years they meet and she finally tries to rekindle something with him (at least friendship). And finally leading up to chapter 59.
It's much better than being told i've been cheating on you with 3 different guys and everyone in schools knows it or speaks about it, but hey, everything was a lie now please be kind to me and let's be friends......Not to mention how author retconned the whole truma story.....
Also to anyone saying she was just a teen:

- Claim: Teenagers are impulsive but not incapable of understanding betrayal, social consequences, or the pain they cause others.
- Assessment: This is a nuanced and accurate statement. Moral cognition develops early — most teenagers understand right from wrong, even if they lack impulse control. Once the impulsive moment passes, most teens are fully capable of retrospective guilt or insight. So the idea that she never reflected enough to even reach out over four years strains plausibility.
- We should distinguish between emotional impulsivity and empathy/delayed reflection, which most teens are capable of. In fact, many teenagers ruminate more than adults.
