This is more less, where original web novel has ended. But there is announcement in taknoubon, that starting from next Volume, original author is returning to continue with new story. Not sure if it will be just for one more Volume (9-10 more chapters) or something beyond. But in any case, starting from chapter 38, this becomes manga original thing.

Probably not. In the original visual novel it splits into two branches where Yuusuke chooses to go with her to the human settlement or chooses to stay among the zombies with his old zombified neighbor. the Visual novel also stopped there, maybe this manga will continue from there? who knows

Visual novel was also just adaptation of web novel. It stopped where it stopped, because the author has pretty much abandoned it in 2017. Now with the success of the manga, he's finally coming back to his story.

Funny enough, Vol 0 is the one with mostly adult content and very little story. It's a collection of short scenarios, two thirds of which are sex scenes. The naming on Steam is inconsistent so just ignore it. Download the free DLC for vol 3 and you're good to go.

So we're stuck again, unless chinchiro changes his mind or someone else will pick this up. Just please not another shitty machine translation without any effort. We are not so behind now, so I hope there won't be anybody so desperate to do that. Not mention that waiting for Volume 5 coming out, to get better scans is also option.
