of 37 chapters I still dont like the MC,he is not evil,he is not even gag funny,50-60 years and he still has PTSD more than a veteran soldier on WW,the gay shipping jokes,the non development on romance other than the android that took years for him to get someone but he believes she hates him and he loves that,I think reading funnier action comedy series did actually ruin my appetite for the bare minimum,no offense for anyone liking this but....................its the bare minimum.

You must've stopped paying attention after the initial chapters because seeing Amagi as a romance interest means you skipped out on most of the story if not all of it. Unless... you think sex = romance? I get that the manga is not too clear on these relationships though, Amagi plays the role of a mother for Liam, sex is just a side benefit.

While Liam does expresses all these desires in his head, he does grant her alot of responsibility once he gets through his tsundere or kuudere phase. In fact, in the LN and WN, he's always very careful with how he handles her.

I do find it a bit weird that in the manga, the alchemy box has a much wider role whereas, if I remember correctly, it simply allowed Liam alot more freedom to expand his military, since the development of his domain's economy was already going well as planned. Though it might just be simpler to give the alchemy box a bit of a bigger role here since it might be harder to explain things without it in a manga.

Besides that, I'm actually pretty satisfied with the manga, makes up for the anime adaptation being somewhat underwhelming.

... I'm actually annoyed that Rosetta isn't going to the military academy. It feels like, after talking up how every noble needs military experience (and how she was... Well, actually it was probably more "desperate" and "suicidal" than valiant in those training mechs but still...) they're setting Rosetta up as a damsel that stays at home and watches the house.

I do hope that she gets her turn eventually... And possibly that Marie teaches her everything she knows.

Can anyone who read the web novel spoil me on how that ends up? Like, I'm not expecting her to be a monster like Liam/Tia/Marie... But at least some competence.

Liam was originally planning to pay the debts as fast as possible, using the alchemy cube and such, but was adviced against it. It would look unnatural and others might try to figure out how the formerly destitute house Banfield is suddenly able to come up with all the money needed. So, he kept up a reasonable schedule. However, now he also has house Claudia's debts to worry about, which would be public knowledge. Even if outsiders thought his wise management of his territories and hunting pirates allowed him to reduce his original debt, now he suddenly has more debt than ever, thanks to marrying Rosetta.

I believe the debts they were trying to pay off first were the taxes owed to the imperial palace. They still have significant personal debts, and they’ve taken on extra debt from House Claudia.
