his wornout hands reminds me of a story about 2 dudes who want to be an artist but they are pennyless and 1 dude decided to work hard so his friend can go to art college.too bad when it was his turn to go to college his hands were so worn out he cant no longer draw

As an artist, I usually take time to rest my hand and do some carpal tunnel exercises since that's usually what ruins your hand for some time, and it's usually very painful to move. It can heal but usually takes some time (it can be a month or more, depending on how bad the pressure built up), and in the meantime, we need to rest the hand and not draw so it doesn't worsen the pain.

This would be OKAY if it was an arc about her finally fucking growing up and stopping her evasion of the fact that people and things change.
It's been ages since her conflict was introduced, and she's been aggressively avoiding it since. If this next arc is just more of the same, yeah, it'll suck, but if she finally does get some real development then it has the potential to not suck.
However, dunno how many readers will care given how long she's just been an irritant to this otherwise highly competent coming of age story.

Unfortunately not every mangaka is actually a writer, so many of them genuinely don't know what to do outside of the initial premise. They love to draw but story and character writing doesn't come easy to them. Once you get into post relationship stuff you really need to understand and enjoy character and the small details. This mangaka clearly can draw and write. It's been fun.
