I think the REAL "Yami" was the much hinted at bully girl that keeps being foreshadowed.

I have a pretty good gut hunch the author is saving her to be revealed as the "final boss" of the story.

• She started referring to Kogahara, who's older than her, as "Kogahara" with no honorifics - so disrepspectful! Though it is most likely that honorifics are omitted since it is a licensed translation
• She wastes her mom's money to go have fun while her aunt lies on a hospital bed
• She unloads her mental baggage on a girl she's just met
• She's been omitting her past relationsip with Sunao for this long despite them allegedly being such close friends

Shes rather lucky that kohagara is such a nice girl but i do agree with her assesment "fake" or "real" kindness doesnt really matter as long as you help people.
I hope the flashbacks are over soon but it feels like theres atleast one more chapter left, if not more.

The goal was to make readers hate Lemon less since the whole hook of the manga was presenting Lemon as a bitch.

I thought the goal was more to not make de readers riot when Lemon wins hahaha
in the end we knew from the start the cheating was a lie, but the problem is that the MC ended with PTSD from that shitty lie

Him hating Lemon or not, it doesn't matter as he now has crush on Kogahara. Even when the author trying so hard to justify Lemon's action, the fact that he's still into Kogahara means that the author has to do more, if they want Sunao X Lemon sail without much controversy
