Meh, fighting games aren't that niche. At least in Japan, a bunch of female streamers were playing Street Fighter 6, some quite competitively. Tekken 8 was pretty popular as well.

RTS games, though. You could play for thousands of hours and not find a single woman. If games smelled, the RTS genre would be worse than a Magic The Gathering tournament.
