The little ant characters are so cute. So I bet one of the honey ants gets attached to him and becomes human like the queen.

I should've seen this coming and yet it still caught me off guard.

Whelp the ant queen does look a bit similar to the antenna girl on the title image
It’s probably one of the queen’s million ant daughters who gets a name down the line.

you know, it's a minor thing, but it is kinda refreshing that not all the surprised faces are directed at the mc.
real question is, is it censorship or is she just barbie doll like before the transformation :thonk:

Honestly, I think it was because he is an Iron ant, and not a honey ant. If it was reverse he probably would've been. (robbed of tomboy iron ant D: )

Fucking knew it.
So creatively bankrupt -- it'd have been fresher to not turn the talking monsters into humans.

And I'd have preferred they'd be a loli and a shota with crowns sprouting from their heads, if the author is already going for this shit.

EDIT: Actually, looking at the cover art, the queen ant WAS a loli originally. Blasphemy.

The fact that he could dry stuff and also controll iron sand made me think that he might be a wind-earth dual elemental.

I mean, just because there is "sand" in the name, sand magic suddenly also affect metal. It would made more sense if it's an earth magic. Maybe it affect anything that the user perceive as sand?

Of course, it had to cross the generic japanese-fantasy bingo card.
Human-form monsters, and only the female one is naked.

It could be seen another way: it can basically manipulate small particles of solid material in bulk, regardless of the actual material.

Note that some people here have compared Horus to an isekai'ed Gaara, who can also manipulate some gold dust at some point. So it's far from unprecedented.
