Almost hate it as much as i hate white racist, that said SBG has some interesting art but i don't think it is better or more refined than Me and the devil blues, so while i can say that his art has changed i wouldn't necessarily call it an evolution

What a damn shame. One of the best manga of all time, and for reasons of poor financial success he abandoned it to write smut instead. Worse, the few that did manage to be somewhat intriguing also got the axe or the indefinite hiatus treatment, and the worst of the lot is the one he decides to continue.
Man should just do a Kickstarter or something.

Boy oh boy I sure love when an author writes an intriguing story focusing on racism in 20s-era America only for him to abandon it to instead write a manga whose climax was the main character peeing in front of his crush while wearing her underwear
