scanlators too p***y to translate because of the ending? hmm...
Nah, it's on a hiatus, I mean, the whole light novel is already translated and released so what wuld be the point. But seriously, going to the Japanese site you can see both the scanlation and the Seven Seas editions are almost completely up to date, only missing the 33.6 chapter that the Russian group translated.
I do love this series, I know about the Usagi Drop ending and I don't mind, you have to take these stories as they are.

People who compare this woth Usagi Drop are just dumb, and i'm not sorry for saying this.

In Usagi Drop, the 2 main characters :

-are from the same family
-have a 30 y age difference
-Are humans (obviously)
-feeling from the girl changed at the middle of the story abruptely.

Here, both mc :

-Are NOT from the same family
-they're not even the same race, he is human, she is a demon.
-have 10 y old age difference. I dont know where you find 10y old fathers on earth. The most he could be was a big brother.
-but that never happen, because she never see him as someone pn yhe same family, she already had a real father and mother who died and she see Him as a man since chapter 1.

So yeah, i'm dropping this, not gonna read it now, not to my taste

That's all I have to say on the matter/SPOILER]

Everyone says they hate the Hikaru Genji plan trope but they keep consuming media that strongly emphasizes this trope. Choose one, if you just wanna socially participate in complaining I get it but you have to be aware that when you're consuming this type of media you might find elements of a morality which does not suit your value system. It's your choice for partaking in it, don't blame an entire culture/nation just because some aspect of it doesn't suit your ideals. But if you wanna complain just for the sake of complaining then you are just swatting at empty air because there is nothing you can do to change what people of a different sensibility than you want to write about.

Have you really read usagi drop? Theyre not actually related, thats revealed towards the end, and its not an asspull, it was set up from the beginning. She also never really accepted him as a father, she always calls him by his name.

It's simply a story that doesn't even care about developing the protagonist's family relationship with the girl. All the author wants is cuteness, and that makes me hate it. The protagonist only appears for cute moments, and the people who are really there in the scenes she needs are other people. That's fine to a certain extent, but at no point does the author prioritize him helping her, or her trusting him. Just because she told her past to the other guy there doesn't mean I don't want a scene of her trusting him to talk to him.
