No, you gotta buy each chapter(part, usually, cuz they divide chapters in 10 page chunks with 2-3 pages being ads) and IIRC the most recent chapters require a subscription/premium currency, there's 3 currencies, one you can get for free, one premium and one you get as "bonus currency" for buying the premium currency
It is genuinely one of the worst reading experiences you can get, legit if you go down a sewer and pick up a book in there it's going to be less of a pain in the ass
Eh, guess I already got accustomed to it, but the fact the chapter pricing is consistent (10 points in any currency for any chapter they allow free access to, 20 of any of the premium currency for chapters which aren't "free access" yet) and the fact that all chapters eventually become free access, so no bullshit with time limits to read after you unlock them or needing to shill out for the last few chapters, is nice.
The fact that they are now allowing you to permanently keep chapters you unlock with the free currency is really what makes it now one of the most bearable out of many other official manga apps - if it was like comickey or tapas (with time-gated access after unlocking a free chapter, or wildly varying values to unlock chapters depending on the series, or not letting you get access to the latest chapters unless you use premium currency even for completed series) it would fucking suck.
So thank god they changed a lot of that stuff around the start of this year.
Oh right, you also get one of the premium currencies "semi-consistently" by reading the first chapter of newly published series in the service. Which isn't much, it is very stingy, but still helps out if you're a bit impatient and want to at least read some of the "not-currently-freely-accessible" chapters. The other premium currency i guess exists more to obscure the value of your purchase of points than anything else since it doesn't do anything special nor seem to be spent differently to the other two.
