Most of them are Japanese-only, but I highly recommend Upopoy National Ainu Museum, about an hour and a half train ride out of Sapporo, so it's a nice day trip if you're in the area. Upopoy has English descriptions on all of their permanent exhibit, in addition to multiple daily dance performances with free multi-language audio guides. There's even traditional Ainu food on offer in Cafe Rimse just outside the gate!

I'll be honest, most of them are pretty tiny and out of the way, definitely requiring a car to get to. Unless you're planning an Ainu tour, I'd stick to just Upopoy, it's the largest and most foreigner-friendly.

as few native pagan follower left in my nation, i can understand the wish to preserve your culture and identity, HOWEVER it's also very necessary to adapt to modern reality. banning poison arrow, hunting trap, and revenge killing is not wrong. those are dangerous practice. it still need to be preserved, but shouldn't be practiced.
