I maintain that this is good, although not enough. Mitsuki needs a wake up call. She's been taking Aya for granted a bit, like she'll always be there without Mitsuki putting in the emotional effort. Being there physically is not enough. Hopefully this leads to some self-reflection from Mitsuki, though I'm afraid we'll need something more drastic for her to fully realize.
Also interesting that Mitsuki bristled at being asked for physical comfort in this moment because of Aya pushing her away before, when the contexts are nowhere near equivalent.
Makes me wonder if Mitsuki has been too much in her own head and, as you said, is being a little too self-centered when it comes to how she interacts with Aya.
It's not the correct time to talk, because nothing productive will result with Aya being this drunk and tired.
But I think steps are being made; though I agree, that it's not at a point where I think Mitsuki will actually come to the table and have it out with Aya. Soon, but there's still ground to cover (given neither Rinko nor Shu have
actually made moves to up the ante on things).
