Kurahashi is the only major character that sucked in this manga, its pretty surprising that such a damaged story can have such good characters, they all deserve happiness, even if its not possible.

It feels like the author knows they wrote really good characters (excluding Kurahashi) but fucked it up with a really iffy story so this is an attempt to put said good characters into a better story. Shame its damaged by the original.

Is it that bad? i was thinking of reading that manga but the sexual violence tag made me worry.

While i liked Gosho as a character (even if she doesnt really develop much as a character over the 10 year jump), i feel like she really overshadowed most of the story in this one. It really feels like the manga should be 50 or so more chapters where we get to see Makoto and Nora actually grow...
