I think most who consider it to have been NTR for a long time see the kissing and reproduction from it as a stand in for where sex would occur in an H series, or as a metaphor for sex. For the aliens it basically is sex because of the weird shit they imprinted from the MCs desires and dislikes.

None of it has been unexpected. All the girls were trashed one by one in different ways and seperated from the MC. I never said it was good, or skillfully done, but it was certainly premeditated. The author is following a formula, and that's to take a normal harem and shit on it. Getting angry...

For those slow on the uptake, this is deconstructing and negating normal harem tropes. Whether the author turns it around and reconstructs it all by the end, or keeps crushing the MCs balls for being a normal guy in an extraordinary situation is the part that's up in the air.
