I wished this kind of arc happened in Land of the Blindfolded, because I always wondered whether the main trio (Kanade, Arou, Namiki) were becoming overreliant on their "sight". Depending on how this story plays it, I might take notes for my own hypotheses.

So it seems the DTG trigger relies on the afflicted's memories of virginity. If Yuka's hypothesis is correct, then having foreplay knowledge to fall back on delays the killswitch. By that logic, perhaps same-sex activity does have an effect (probably not full immunity, though).
