Feel vindication for the MC's childhood friend confirming that he had feelings for Hikari, and probably still did after this stint. Definitely makes Yami awful for what she did before the flashbacks.

From what I see, Maruto Fumiaki is the author of the novel and the manga. Also, the novel was updated simultaneously with the new chapter drop, so no one other than Maruto knows how it's going to turn out.

After reading chapter 21, I see Yuu's words in a new light. Poor MC.

Probably is that Ayami mentioned in the last page "Why did you find me, Yuu". So that might imply he was looking for her, but that could be her delusion and it was the other way around.

I was so wrong about the childhood friend having feelings for the MC. This chapter is how you kill any interest in a manga. Also, MC has a shitty best friend to hide this from her.

Well, FMC seems to be a mess. As she said, she does seem to be selfish, though it seems that she just doesn't realize her own feelings for him. Also, looks like an anime has been announced for 2025!

This is the one point I never could wrap my head around when I watched the movie. Sakuta is too good to a fault, and this showed how selfish he really was. Sure, he could feel good about saving someone else, but he never really cared about how the people he loved (Mai, his sister) would react to...

It showed that the powers he stole are going back to their owners, that's why you see them waking up shortly after. He didn't kill people, but it seems, when he stole their powers, they are put into a coma.
