I'm glad recent chapters finally have the MC interact with Mino-san normally. His commentary from afar and stalking was getting tiresome and it had zero chance of making the romance develop into anything.
It's her old friend from elementary school that did since she saw Yuki pick her up under the tree. Wouldn't surprise me if she took a picture.
(It couldn't be the sister either because she knew Yuki back when he was alive, so I would think she would have other priorities than spread rumours...

People are still reading, are they not? At least in my case, I can like and enjoy a manga, and still think it has really glaring problems that the author should fix in order to better their story.

Why not? Experimental archeology is a thing that exists. Off the top of my head, that's how people have tried to reproduce Damascus steel.
