    Maid-san wa Taberu Dake - Vol. 2 Ch. 13 - Pickled Vegetables

    Grandma really makes this comic.

Mijuku na Futari de Gozaimasu ga - Vol. 6 Ch. 48 - I Just Want Her All For Myself

@inviernos Assuming you live in the U.S., though as far as I know the data is reflective of the trend in EU nations as well, you do realize this is straight up untrue right? Divorce rates have been on a sharp decline the past few decades.

    Oredake ni Kamatte Maka-senpai - Vol. 1 Ch. 7 - Things Maka-Senpai isn't good at

I think they both just dropped the kayfabe there for a second without realizing it.

    Coffee Moon

This and Kowloon Generic Romance seem like the only two meaty sci-fi pieces to come out in Japanese comics the past few years.

Ou no Kemono - Vol. 4 Ch. 14

They actually used a proper thumb draw when doing archery this chapter, I'm impressed.

    Game Yaru kara 100-en Kashite! - Vol. 3 Ch. 20 - Stage 20!

@rockerrock60 you might want to reread this chapter. Her 'nine other boys' are video game characters.

Mazumeshi Elf to Yuboku gurashi - Vol. 1 Ch. 5 - Bazaars and Merchants

You want me to believe that steppe nomads not only never made dumplings, they've NEVER MADE CHEESE?

Please Don't Call Me Queen! - Vol. 1 Ch. 4 - The Fight Late at Night

So in this chapter Moran recalls that the King said, "I shall relinquish my throne to the one who defeats me at chess." Remember the first chapter? It's not really foreshadowing at this point.

Ryuu to Yuusha to Haitatsunin - Vol. 3 Ch. 17 - The Knight, the Squire, and Self-Help

@Scrabbleman remember from the earlier chapters, "levels" here are not video game/rpg statistical levels. Here they're just an in-universe extension of how (actual historical) guilds and cities controlled their professions in history by being strict about rank. @Nightdotexe that's the joke.

The Earl's Daughter Was Suddenly Employed as the Crown Prince's Fiancée - Vol. 2 Ch. 12

I think what really surprised me is that I think this is the first japanese comic I've seen where someone used a sabre properly, instead of trying to cram both hands inside the guard like a katana.

The Villainess Lives Again - Vol. 1 Ch. 33

I honestly wonder if the author of the novel and artist have backgrounds in history. That was an astonishingly authentic example of bargaining between two politically powerful families, gifting each other seemingly innocuous items with loaded political connotations that signal the obligations...

Is a Mother in Her 30s Like Me Alright? - Vol. 1 Ch. 2

I've rarely felt my opinion on a comic do such a hard 180 that I can smell the figurative rubber burning.

    Six Half - Vol. 8 Ch. 35

No wonder he hated her, both of them had a taboo love for Akio but she was so much more terrifyingly able to pull Akio down with her.

    Sex & Dungeon!!

Idly keeping tabs on this in the vain hope that Akitsu-san will bring down this sociopath rapist eventually.

Kishi-tan wa Jouheki no Naka ni Hana Hiraku

Wow what's this, a Japanese comic where "knights" actually fight on horseback like they should for once. It's amazing what happens when you have fantasy that isn't just Dragon Quest fanfiction.

Maou Desu. Onna Yuusha no Hahaoya to Saikon Shita no de, Onna Yuusha ga Giri no Musume ni Narimashita. - Vol. 3 Ch. 23

I'm more than a little weirded out at how mother and daughter seem the exact same age.

The Villainess Lives Again - Vol. 1 Ch. 23

@snappleti you're right, she is the daughter of the Imperial Knight that escorted her back home in the first few chapters. Nice catch. Sir Kishore seems like a decent guy so there's no way he'd just sit mum if his daughter tells him about what she just saw, and he reports directly to the Emperor.

    Kokohore Boketsu-chan - Vol. 1 Ch. 6 - 6th Dig

Pretty sure that's Wasabi, not just mustard.

    Viruka-san VS

I wish comics of this type wouldn't make the fantasy world's cuisine so arbitrarily awful. Your Japanese character can impress with their cooking without having to make the fantasy world incompetent at a task so well mastered by pre-modern cultures as baking bread.

Gorae Byul - The Gyeongseong Mermaid - Ch. 1 - Once Upon A Time in the Ocean There Lived...

@dawned Three Dollars would go a lot further in the 1920s.
