I don't think they have a problem with military and patriotism. To me it seemed like the problem was with people of noticable influence and power trying to "force" a young kid to risk his life (without being willing to do the same themselves) or be branded as unpatriotic, ie basicly blackmailing...

Ok, I was going to give this manga a 7 or 8 because it's entertaining but now I'll give it a 10 instead, just to counteract some of the stupidity displayed in this thread (people not able to separate reality and fiction etc).

So, the majority of the class that got summoned were either one, several or all of the following: stupid, easily manipulated, bullies and/or psychopaths. Isn't that great 🤦‍♂️

Yeah, one could think that way, but, and here's the kicker, there's a very good chance that the person who wanted to remain anonymous killed the dragon for the towns sake, what do you think that person would do when someone comes into town, killing people and tries to strongarm his way into power?

I get really annoyed with people constantly marking a story as harem even when the MC has no romantic/carnal interest in any of them or even interested in just one of them, I get especially irritated when it's only young teenagers/children and the MC only shows fatherly/familial love for them...
