Typical manga where there would be no plot if people were slightly smarter. It's fine in this case though, it isn't supposed to be serious/well-tied, just ecchi fun.

What makes it funnier is that everything she said was actually true! And by the length of her hair the chat was already ~2 years after the events, so Rudeus had enough time to get somewhat famous already.

@jonsmth in general katanas are represented as a bit too powerful in this manga. I personally don't mind it, and in the case of grandpa slashing fully armoured enemies I can easily see good explanations for that; but considering how common the trope is, I get why some people would point it out...
