We have those kind of cleaners in the US, too. Generally called "dry cleaners" around here, but they do general stain removal, too, usually.

For all the people who keep asking why she got offered the prince by the teacher, it's all about status. She's the (adopted) daughter of a duke, which is only one step down from the royal family. When you consider social rank, she's probably the most eligible to get put with the prince.
