@Alpha_Salsa they both have another hidden meaning, and he only ‘understands’ the obvious meaning. It confused me at first too. “Take care of (my daughter)” is also something you’d say when you have someone permission to date/marry your daughter, and the other one had that sort of meaning too.

What a cursed romcom, (literally, lol). It’s self aware and funny and focuses more on actual backstory and characterization so far, though, so it’s good after the slow start.
