@nutjob, yeah, it's meant to be dialect. We've used "ta" in place of "to" numerous times throughout the series so far.

I can't promise anything at the moment, but it looks like there is a new translator on board for the series! Not sure when we'll get the next chapter out, but I've started cleaning it so I can typeset once the translation happens!

The first 8 chapters have been updated to volume versions. Higher picture quality, more consistent editing, and a new font. We will resume with chapter 9 when it is published, which is scheduled for May 2019.

As of February 2019, all 15 volumes that are available in color have been completed. More will be worked on once they are available in Japanese.

Urasawa took breaks between volumes of Billy Bat, so I'm not too surprised by this. My guess is that it resumes some time in March or April 2019.

Urasawa writes some depressing stuff, but it never ends on a depressing note. His stories are full of optimism. That doesn't mean that everything will be perfect at the end of a series, but the characters will have learned something, and be in a better place as people. That's why I love his work...

@louTheRed, he comes back towards the end of volume 8. I've got the Japanese volumes for 7-10, but I'm the typesetter. Can't actually read them, lol. I like Hino-sensei, so I'm glad he comes back into the story.
