This is another rare gem in the age of copypaste isekai plotlines. Immortality, and a realistic take on its consequences on the psyche. Far more sophisticated and thought-out than the mindless "Let's do Isekai things, it'll sell" we get 90% of the time.
Looks very promising. Honestly, I really enjoy the modern variations on the classical fantasy manga themes, with influences by the isekai genre but without actually giving into the mainstream and doing an isekai work proper. This has great potential. Would have liked a longer pilot chapter...
I thought I recognized it. A few chapters in, it starts to get pretty clear that this story is heavily based off Shakespeare's Twelfth Night. The twins, the swordfighting, the crossdressing page, the love letter, the widow...Even the switcheroo.
