Unrelated to the sadness at all, this Mangaka doesn't seem to have a good grasp at drawing the elderly. They look too Young in the face, just that their faces happen to be smudged with pen lines. Not enough shadows in the right places I think, or appropriate facial structure. It's just... Really...
