I doubt the meat of this manga will be him trying to figure out her name, for what it's worth, that'll probably last maybe 2 more chapters at most. Anyway, don't really know what to think of this yet, but if nothing else, the artist is very good at making funny expressions.

It being Japan most likely, I'm gonna guess his parents did not approve of his life choices (wanting to be a stuntman in this case, something along those lines), and they're super estranged now.
