Yeah. The almost still frame action shots and very strong lines are very reminiscent of of styles like Yukito Kishiro and Hiroaki Samura. I'm getting strong Blade the Immortal vibes here.

Wow. Plot kicked back into gear REAL fast.

At least she realizes that she's not actually ugly. "I reincarnated as an ugly fat pig", and bemoaning how fat and ugly they are, while simply being not-anorexic and maybe having brown hair or a freckle, is one of my least favorite tropes. I'm glad this series seems to be avoiding that.
