I wasn't taking issue with your translation in any of the comments I made by the way but on second reading I can see how that came across. I just found it weird why the author decided to use that language.

I don't mean weird from a human perspective but in-universe why would a beastfolk consider herself "non-human"? Wouldn't everybody else be "non-beastfolk"?

Isn't it weird how as a beast-human Rose says that she serves customers that are "non-human"? Wouldn't she say something like "non-beastfolk"?
