There is a small printing error on pg1. Somehow the chapter 1 title text ended up on top of the page randomly. This was present in the Bookwalker raw I buy myself as well as a few publicly available raws I checked (which presumably source from Bookwalker). I'm not sure if this printing error...

Idk if this is a joke or not but it is in fact sericite. In the raw, she says 絹雲母 (sericite) not 白鉛鉱 (cerussite). According to a Google search, sericite is common in modern cosmetics. But I ain't a geologist.

Also btw that I made a small mistake before, it was the brother's friend that was interested in Manatsu, not the brother. I updated the chapter recently. Not that it affects the plot (yet?)

pretty sure they did kiss. It's just not shown. 12.3 and 12.4 were released as one chapter. So kana takes intiative and kisses her and that's why she calls her useless.

I guess what I'm saying is she isn't actually too formal compared to her peers, she's more informal, bordering on rude, compared to her peers. So stuff like no contractions gives her the opposite characterization as in the original text. There's more than one way to speak "different" and this...

Maybe this is too petty but I don't understand why the TL for Yuu hardly uses contractions. To me, in JP she speaks informally, somewhat terse or gruff even. The lack of contractions just makes her sound unfittingly formal and frankly unnatural. Related
