Ah yes... I'm now remembering the original version of this... this is about as convoluted as I remember.

I read this with no expectations outside of "hey this'll probably be some edgy fun". I got a pleasant surprise. This is a grounded well-paced revenge story with a good bit of intrigue. The MC is written well enough that I want to root for him getting his revenge.

The numbers... what do they mean? Like seriously? How can someone go from level 16 to 6 to 18? Where's the consistency?

This is bog standard pub stomp slop, but it's decently fun.

This has a lot of the typical tropes that you'd expect from a "kicked out of the party" type of story, but it doesn't use those tropes like a crutch, and it actually builds an enjoyable story out of it.

It feels like there's a word missing in that English translation. Unless this legit is about a guy that can infinitely revive an S class tower rather than infinitely reviving in an S-class tower. Honestly, infinitely reviving a tower sounds more interesting to me.

So far, while this isn't anything particularly unique (as of reading up to chapter 10), for a weak-to-strong type of story this is decent.

I've found myself pretty well hooked by this. I normally am pretty well emotionally exhausted by these kinds of stories even when they're good like this one, but this one balances out the darker side of things with the alter ego's personality and actions.

I can say this is objectively good, but I don't feel good reading it. I mean the quality we get for storytelling is good, but there feels like there's no hope in the situation even when the ML appears to take the Empress away. Perhaps with a bit more time I might come to like this, but right now...

If you can't argue against the points I made then you're far more stupid than I thought.

Just because the events that lead up to the story we get here (and the pre-serialization as well) make you feel like trash does not make the story trash. You're being a bit emotional here, and I think that's fine, but at least keep it rational. Your comments in this thread come off over the top.

This is quick paced, but there is some heart behind it. I'll bookmark it for now.
