    Kinenbi Manga - Vol. 1 Ch. 17 - January 20th - Wrong Choice

I'm starting to acquire a taste for Hinami dying as a recurring gag. Are you also following A Ninja and an Assassin Under One Roof? It should be right up your alley. (It also has an anime adaptation that will start airing in a few days.)

Hametsu no Koibito - Vol. 2 Ch. 9

"Anyway, women like you... you're the kind to enjoy messing up other people's lives, aren't you?" Ah, so that's where the title "Destruction Lover" comes from. I think there's a typo on page 14, in the first dialogue box. "With all the fallen leaves, the garden felt even lonier."—"lonier"...

    I Ran Over a Magical Girl - Ch. 1

Demons and humans living together peacefully, in a town protected by a magical girl, is the backstory in The Demon Girl Next Door. Perhaps you're thinking of that series? Highly recommend checking it out, if you're not already familiar with it. It's Cute Girls Doing Cute Things, but with a...

    Every Day Is a Holiday - Ch. 8 - January 11th - Salt Day

I felt Holiday Yasumi's Twitter Shorts was mostly just crossdressing/genderswap or other sexual jokes. This series seems to be Cute Girls Doing Cute Things, with some occasional morbid humor. No signs of the artist's barely-disguised fetish yet.

Hametsu no Koibito - Vol. 2 Ch. 8

The paneling in this chapter was just magical. Loved page 6, page 14, and page 24.

    Kaya-chan Isn’t Scary - Vol. 6 Ch. 40 - Answering machines are not scary

If you add the anime as "Plan to Watch" on MyAnimeList.net, you'll get an e-mail when it starts airing. But no air date for Kaya-chan has been announced yet, so it's probably still a while away.

    SHY - Vol. 17 Ch. 142 - A Princess in Love

Sekilala's "comedy lesbian" behavior actually makes her strongly-implied background feel even more tragic. Her first appearance way back just portrayed her as a yandere lesbian, but this chapter made her instantly shoot up to become potentially my favorite.

Hametsu no Koibito - Vol. 2 Ch. 6.3 - scherzo

I actually kind of like it. The side chapters feel like world-building. We get to know more about the other characters, and see the world from their perspective. And we get to bask in more of the gorgeous art regardless.

SHY - Vol. 16 Ch. 139 - How to Kill a Friendly Merperson

Yeah, my reaction was just like, "What?" That felt so abrupt. Felt like such a waste of a character. Character deaths are usually done so well in this series. A rare miss from the mangaka.

Hametsu no Koibito - Vol. 2 Ch. 6.1 - interlude

Yeah, this series has a very different vibe than other manga series. It always feels like a refreshing change of pace. Really need to slow down when reading it, and appreciate how the paneling works together with the art and dialogue to portray the thoughts and feelings going on inside the...

Hametsu no Koibito - Vol. 2 Ch. 6

The afterword got me thinking, that this series feels like literal slice-of-life—just a collection of disjointed "slices" or moments in the characters' lives. It feels almost like someone recalling scattered memories, rather than telling a cohesive story. The limited dialogue and creative...

SHY - Vol. 16 Ch. 137 - Beyond The Bad End

I feel the overall plot writing in this series is hit-and-miss, but all of the character writing and dialogue is consistently great. The mangaka does a great job of building up to and delivering emotional moments through the dialogue and art. Also want to add that I really liked the origin of...

    SHY - Vol. 16 Ch. 134 - Black Star

I definitely recommend going back to catch up on the chapters you missed, when you get the chance. There was a major story reveal around chapter 100, and also important context behind the last few chapters' fight against Stigma. Shy has much better writing, and a different vibe from typical...

Totsugi Okureta Kitsune ga Yome ni Kuru Hanashi - Vol. 3 Ch. 28 - Family Restaurant!

I really appreciate all of the translator's notes you've been adding to each chapter. This series' chapters are just short slice-of-life-moments, so your notes add a lot of helpful context and point out subtle details that would've been missed. I've also been enjoying the Tsumiki Ogami series...

Even a Replica Falls in Love - Ch. 13 - Sweet Things Are A Young Girl's Dream

I'm starting to feel like this series should have the "psychological" tag instead of "comedy".

Arrogant Slave - Ch. 7 - Absent Master

Hamita's more-recent series like "An Angel's Love At First Sight" and "A Story About a Hallucinatory Girl" have been mostly just unexpected twists with a relatively happy ending. So I'm expecting something more like... The war goes poorly for the lord Master-kun doesn't return, and is presumed...
