I like that by the end of the chapter, Namu admits he has incomplete knowledge of whatever phenomenon is going on with Kaya. Is Kaya a separate being from the spectre or not? Also, given Mirai’s condition, is the Ebisumori spectre fragmenting itself with each generation it is passed down?

I made an April Fool's ad for this series, but I was an hour too late for the deadline. I might as well post it here anyways, since the picture comes from this chapter, and I'll submit the ad when the opportunity comes next year.

Kaya desperately trying to scratch her spectre(?) off reminds me of when Black Spiderman tried pulling the Symbiote off himself. The image is even more scary if you believe that Kaya is struggling to breathe (or scream).

Sorry for not noticing your question until now. My note was about the very thing you observed, the placement of the mole. By speaking strange, I just meant that I wanted to hint at why she’s shady (literally) when she says her “something evil is afoot” line.

Chapters 4, 11, 15 and 32 end with a question mark. I don't think the numbers mean anything, but each of those chapters had something big happen.

I know that this girl on page 1 is just doing a genuine smile but something about the eye squint makes me chuckle. It's not derpy or anything, just unexplainably funny:

This chapter was pretty easy to clean and redraw. Next one though... well, you'll see. I like that Kaya-chan didn't really need to punch the ikiryou for it to go away. It kinda went away by itself after the grudge was fulfilled. Author's description of ikiryou reminds me of stands from JJBA though.

Good point. It’s not really a TL Note, so I should remove it. Initially, I put it there because I anticipated some readers would be confused as to why Mero-sensei is speaking strange. Else, it’s just an annotation.

The incident in this chapter makes me think of Sandygast and Palossand, since both Pokemon are haunted sandcastles. Anyways, Kurage Bunch, publisher of Kaya-chan, is doing voice-overs of Kaya-chan chapters! Kaya and Chie's voices were similar to what I had imagined.

The raws have no gifs at all. I just make one whenever I feel like it would add to the experience, but I'm being careful not to oversaturate chapters with gifs.
