I was hoping you would revive this one as well. It certainly left a big impression in more than one way and I was really hooked when it was being updated. I can't wait to see where it goes!

It's really sad to see the mediterranean setting go, it was absolutely one of my favorite parts of this series. It feels like a big downgrade to go from the novel seaside to the boring and generic empire that every other novel reincarnation series takes place in.

There's a lot of adults in these shoujo mangas that could probably be charged with distributing alcohol to minors. It's definitely on the weirder side of tropes...

In case anyone needs a reference like I do, the family tree was shown and translated in chapter 14. It certainly makes much more sense now, but still raises a lot of questions. Particularly that the family line in the fourth generation wasn't continued by the priestess, Izumi, but by a sister...

On page 22, the mob characters learned how to duplicate themselves :thonk:

The sfx looks amazing but I don't mind if they're not redrawn. This series has already hooked me so if no redraws means fast chapters I would be thrilled. That being said, don't force yourself and just do the things you want to do!

It's always these abused FL fantasy series that have the most despicable and hatable villains. Nobody could beat Caesar from How to Win My Husband Over, but this king is a close second on my "fictional characters I wish I could personally kill" list :angery:

The first few chapters with the first game were well paced, but from there everything has been happening way too quickly. All they've been doing so far is introducing characters to kill the very next chapter, there's no time to actually learn about them and make their deaths meaningful. Take...

I remember finding this two or three years ago when only the first chapter was translated. I found it again yesterday and was in the middle of reading it when this final chapter got uploaded. Very interesting and thought provoking series, thank you for translating it!

Thank you so much for the plot recap, it was very needed and incredibly helpful! Now if only I can remember who's who in the first place I'll be able to make sense of it.... I feel like once they got to the north they started introducing new characters left right and center and it's hard to keep...

This may be the kind of series I love to hate, but I'm very glad to see some actual progress for once. Now that the author is finally stepping up their game, I can't wait to see what lazy trope they'll introduce next to stretch out the confession!
