I like it. The only problem is that it’s too long. Too long for a backstory within an arc. This backstory is taking/took four chapters, while they’ll all in the middle of a festival. Would’ve been better if it went back and forth with the flash back.

God, the more this goes on; the more it feels like he’s going to die. Either sacrificing, disposing him after they have a baby, or killing him if he tries to runaway and they look for another looking suitor. I could see the end where the daughter has a child and the MC is mysteriously gone...
