Sadpanda has struggled with this issue for a decade. They get automatic take downs from fakku and irodori, even if it's stuff that's never going to be translated. It's a massive pain. I've seen stuff being taken down less than 15 minutes after uploading.

I still recommend using panel cleaner and chatgpt over Google translate and deepl, you get a far more accurate translation and it takes a fraction of the time and effort. You might need to use Google lens on handwritten text and skewed text, but otherwise it works well...

For physical manga I've mostly used cdjapan and Amazon. For digital I mostly used kobo. Mostly because it's easier to rip from. I haven't bought older stuff though.
