Gotta admit, this is a manga that really REALLY REALLY doesn't reflect the source material much at all. The Q of Diamonds was much less obviously a lady (and IIRC I think they were brown-skinned, too!) and the drinking incident was much, much more embarrassing for her in the WN.

Because that IS Korean culture. title=success=happiness. Also beauty, being physically beautiful is a massive massive thing there, too. There is no such thing as 'homely' or 'ugly cute'. Just 'ugly' = bad and pretty = good.

Remember, Japan's viewpoint on such things is 'that's your problem/fault for not being normal'. So most likely, yeah.

Most of these OP isekai characters are closer to demigods or full out gods than humans, they just choose to deny it. Ostensibly out of humility, personally I call it not laziness of wanting to take on the responsibility.

It's very obvious that the 'isekai/genderswap' bit was purely to cash in on fans of the genres and basically tempt them into buying the book, while the rest of the story is what the author ACTUALLY wanted to make.

I agree with everything you said, but am also 200% certain you just put more thought and logic into it than the author did, so prepare to be disappointed on that front.

Considering how common romance tropes in Japan include 'I loved her first so she's mine (somehow)!' and stuff like that, I wouldn't be surprised if this WAS considered NTR to them.
