As much as I like this series, this one battle is becoming way too drawn out. I get that it's basically a shounen manga thing, but this early on? I think it's a bit much.
Honestly I was kind of on the fence about this manga, but if the author is including queer representation purely because they themself want to, that's more than enough to keep me invested.
That last page is a textbook example of how not to write dialogue. You can't just throw walls of... Whatever that dialogue is, at the reader and expect them to care. Find a way to shorten it or spread it out further.
Man, it's not that I ever had high expectations of the character writing (among many other elements) of this manga, but it really is just "Everyone except the designated good guys is completely irredeemable."
