@Wind_Blade Wasn't aware that Opera embraced Chomium too. That's unfortunate. We almost have another monoculture at this point, made worse by all the apps that use Electron and thus effectively multiply Chrome/Chromium's bloat.

@TwilightFaze But Edge IS Chrome now. It's running on Chromium just like every browser that isn't Firefox or Opera.

Considerably more fun than expected. Can't quite put my finger on why I kept reading it when I dropped so many other isekai, but clearly it does something right.

Eh, you guys are way too harsh. This series is still really enjoyable and vastly superior to other some others that recently jumped the shark like Skeleton Soldier.

@Boronore Nobody takes issue with the setting (spoilers, btw) but rather the way that pretty much everything for the last arc of the story has been handled. The whole thing has been falling apart for a while now. If you can still enjoy it, more power to you. Unfortunately, I can't maintain...

@Urmumske That's a bit of an understatement. The plot, quality of the writing, characterization, and damn well near every aspect of it has fallen off a cliff. Such a shame, because the initial setup and premise was interesting and well done for quite a while.

@Maximum If you mean 51.5, that's Subaru from Re:Zero. The chapter is a non-canon crossover to celibrate Mushoku Tensei's anime and Re:Zero's second season.

@Warhawk Isekai is fundamentally a form of escapism and wish-fulfillment. In a time where many people feel trapped in their modern lives and the youth in many countries (not just Japan) feels that there's little hope for the future, this kind of escapist fantasy is extremely attractive...

Hey, not bad at all. Gives off a different vibe compared to Hametsu Flag, even if the premise is extremely similar.

This series jumped the shark so incredibly that I should hate it, but instead I find myself unable to look away.

This is significantly better than the current rating would suggest, mainly because the writing is quite decent and the jokes have excellent delivery.

The pacing seems fine to me. It's a little on the slow side, but not enough that I find it distracting. The plot is advancing at a fair clip, and if it keeps moving like this I can't imagine this arc dragging on excessively.

Ugh. It hurts to see it over with so many plot threads abandoned. I hope Matsuda's next series manages to get a long run. His real strength is in creating characters that grow (and grow on us as readers) over time, but unfortunately shonen manga isn't always a format where authors are...

Definitely a fun series. It may not be super original, but the art is clean, the plot is decently paced, and the characters are endearing. Oh, and Lento is cosplaying Corvo Attano. Not sure why others are being so negative about it.

The translation is solid, it just needs a little more proofreading and editing to ensure that it flows well with proper grammar. Honestly though, overall the quality is more than sufficient. It's perfectly understandable and only very rarely is a line awkward enough to break your immersion...
