Nah, they're civilians. They will most likely think those mercenaries were paid by the king to defend the kingdom because of some kind of intel. If not by the king, by the adventure's guild since that is their job, after all.

It's still getting updated, but since it got an official English release, they aren't getting translated in advance by anyone. You can buy it in dolars or, if you are like me and live on a country with devalued money, read it in some agregator site like manganato.
