@Starbright well as far as I know, the author did say that in an interview, but she could have changed her mind since then because I think the interview was a year or two ago. or maybe they will kinda reach a weird romance-y stage but then stop, idk

I don't think Satoko and Mashup would be healthy in a romantic relationship together, so it's great that the author said it wasn't supposed to be an age gap romance. I do think that even if they idealize each other, they've still helped each other grow
