I get that the point is to build up each and every team, but I really didn't give a fuck about these guys and their backstory didn't really endear them to me. Their material also wasn't that good. Felt very samey to several of the previous teams.

Even by Baki standards, Pickle is doing a whole lot of standing around and thinking while getting fucking brutalized. Let the guy do something already.

Higher than average chance that MC has a last-second change of heart when he realizes that killing a murderous psychopath who would explode an entire town to kill one guy would somehow make him just as bad as that murderous psychopath.

Not too sad to see it go, but not exactly happy that it just sorta stumbled through those last dozen chapters, huh?

First thought: Vigilantes came and went and covered every single theme and societal issue, along with what it means to be weak and powerless in a society of super powers while trying to be a hero in spite of that, what it means to be a villain, and even exploring the psychology of someone...

Is it just me, or does it feel like the team is getting ripped to fucking pieces and brutally wounded every other chapter?

I don't think anything you've said is wrong or fundamentally disagree, but at the same time, I find it insulting that we have these legitimate excuses for why the series didn't exhaustively delve into these topics, but we're still wrapping up many big plot arcs like it did address them...

Without context, a lot of these ideas sound good and seem like they would have made for interesting plotlines. Like exploring how the hero rankings are actually causing massive problems and creating a whole generation of selfish, vain heroes... But every ranked and big-name pro hero we meet is...

It's kind of a silly thing for Horikoshi to imply that Shigaraki was just one small act of kindness short of not becoming a mass murderer this whole time after he went out of his way to show that AFO was personally responsible for every single bad thing to ever happen in Shigaraki's entire life...

Hori continues to write these epilogue chapters as if they were following a different, far deeper, more involved story than the one he wrote and published for years.

I still feel like these connections and parallels between the heroes and villains is ham-fisted at best and obnoxiously insulting at worst.
