Imagine getting this far and still not understanding the point of Phos' character, their actual desire and their wishes. I guess people not getting the point is actually part of the point, God this manga is brilliant.

Now Phos can finally fulfill their desire of having a job that only they can do (they even managed to become everyone's hope like all the other Gems wanted). Talk about coming full circle (they also managed to fulfill their promise with Cinnabar earlier too). God I love this writing.

Really? I don't see it that way. Let's assume what they're saying is completely true with no manipulation or anything mixed in. They're willing to sacrifice completely innocent lives as a means to hopefully guilt and physiologically torture someone that doesn't want anything to do with them...

I'm calling lies mixed with truth (like any good manipulator would).

This is 100% her best look to me. He called her a monster to her face so I don't think he really cares.

I'm liking the parallels to this side and the "real world" with how they're both dealing with her coma. They're both tirelessly at her side not expecting anything in return other than her wellbeing and they'll learn to cherish her :aquadrink: (the concept is still annoying though).
