Bouncer -Tokyo Fist- - Vol. 2 Ch. 8

No wonder they barely have any employees if they fire a guy on his first day for noticing a hidden weapon a second late (not even not noticing it but noticing it just too late!)

    Bouncer - Vol. 1 Ch. 5

I'm guessing they've given that guy specific orders to piss him off as much as possible to test his ability to control his anger.

Red Blue - Vol. 3 Ch. 23 - Predictions and Checkmates

The next chapter solves almost all of your issues with this one.

Baki Rahen - Vol. 2 Ch. 13 - The Second Man in History

Megacles was an actual Greek name. Don't want to be pedantic - but they're not gladiators. They're just athletes, not slaves, and while people could and did die in pankration matches, they weren't to the death.

Burning Kabaddi - Vol. 4 Ch. 32 - Giants and Dwarves

Thank you for the chapter. I think he was naive learning that his opponent was a starting raider and underestimating him that badly.

    Masuraou

This started off decently (though I wasn't a big fan of the humour tbh) but I feel like the weird emphasis on the MC not being trained kind of undermined it since him and his master only won by basically begging all their opponents to brawl with them. I'm not asking for realism you understand...

Masuraou - Vol. 7 Ch. 70 - The Masurao Festival Concludes!!

On one hand this is the only realistic ending - he'd already taken two and a half fights of punishment whereas Daiju was unharmed. On the other hand - having the challenger be forced to fight three times and the champion only once, with no time to recover except that 15 minute break (which is...

    Masuraou - Vol. 6 Ch. 57 - The Promise

Gonna be honest this fight felt kind of bullshit. Tora is just a brawler who demanded his smaller, more skilled opponent fight him in favourable conditions.

    Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san - Vol. 19 Ch. 142 - Senpai!! Wait wait wait...

Was hoping the bell would ring before the Ippon Honestly I think the winners should have been reversed. It's way more interesting to have Paisen be the one who was victorious and Nagatoro the one who lost or at least both lose (if you want Paisen to have to push through and confess anyway)...

Satsudou - Vol. 2 Ch. 15 - People can change

No it's probably a type of drug. They are used in medicine sometimes but make a person feel weak.
  11. Sigilbreaker26

    Rikudou - Vol. 9 Ch. 84 - Comfort

Gonna be honest this one felt like it ended anti-climactically

    Red Blue - Vol. 4 Ch. 31 - Unknowingly

Scan team dropped it when it got an official release (which is obviously not available on mangadex). It is finished now though.
  13. Sigilbreaker26

    Red Blue - Vol. 4 Ch. 31 - Unknowingly

I like that they built him up so much beforehand, I don't think it would have been as funny if they hadn't totally committed to him being a really dangerous guy And I know this sort of setup for jobbers is common but since it was Aoba's first proper fight you'd think he would have been tougher.

TSUYOSHI - Daremo Katenai, Aitsu ni wa - Vol. 6 Ch. 64

God bless you Black_Beat, whatever it is you are struggling with. Thank you for all the chapters in quick succession Also Tsuyoshi may not have a GF but at least he has a bro for life
  15. Sigilbreaker26

Tsuyoshi - Daremo Katenai, Aitsu ni wa - Vol. 6 Ch. 54 - Bullseye

Easily the most unlikeable Tsuyoshi has ever been tbh. And honestly he is definitely strong enough to win these fights without groin shots.
  16. Sigilbreaker26

    Baki Rahen - Vol. 1 Ch. 8 - Father & Son

Yujiro is still a completely amoral person so you know his analysis of Jack's progress and ability is completely honest since he feels no reason to flatter him to make him feel better.
  17. Sigilbreaker26

    Red Blue - Vol. 4 Ch. 30 - The First Foe's Name...

Page 3 has a reference at the bottom left to the legendary Frye vs Takayama fight from PRIDE: Worth a watch. Sadly Takayama was paralyzed some time after in a pro wrestling accident.
  18. Sigilbreaker26

    Satsudou - Vol. 2 Ch. 12

Way to destroy your own career lol.
  19. Sigilbreaker26

    Satsudou - Vol. 2 Ch. 12

One of them says they specifically need to beat him with martial arts - probably a combination of reputation and avenging the martial artists his family has murdered. I also see a flaw with his style. It's good for quick attacks and assassination but the longer a fight goes on the more the enemy...

    Red Blue - Vol. 3 Ch. 29 - The Pseudo-Kenshin

Tanigichi is definitely one note but it would be very hard for him to clinch Haduru because Haduru's outside footwork is so good. Against Kenshin he'd have to wade into striking range to get a clinch and he was terrified of that
