This really reminds me of one of those old mid-2000s yuri series I'd stumble into while consuming everything I could on the dynasty website back in the day, there's something really nostalgic about the art and the understated tone of it.
I'm getting major whiplash from there being multiple confessions in the first chapter after the pacing issues in their last series, not gonna lie. I'm glad I gave this a chance. :thumbsup:
Cute characters but a will-they-won't-they dynamic that massively outstays its welcome and makes Sasameki Koto seem direct. When I reached the end I was honestly more annoyed than anything.
This really resonated with me, the guilt and fear of forgetting a parents face for the first time is something I've never seen talked about in stories about loss before.
