People are drawing the pitchforks and torches a bit too early IMO. Give it a few more chapters, and if there's still no development, then yeah, manga sucks. But for now I say let them cook. Just cuz one of the characters is a sucky person doesn't mean the manga is sucky, not until it's clear...
