Unfortunately, it jumps around like that in the novel as well, so its source material accurate. She actually does warn him quite often, every chapter she shows up in fact, I think it just hasn't been shown in the manga for some reason.

I'm pretty sure there isn't even an official english translation, why was this one even nuked? Not to mention, how? There's no one out there to make a legal complaint.

I have a theory as to that, from the prologue of volume 2 of the novel which was cut down in the manga but may be shown later. The manga has shown Shagard's past and that/why his mother left, but in the novel it also shows that
